Problem: Manufacturing of clothes uses a lot of natural resources and creates greenhouse gas emissions which are responsible for climate change. Not only does the manufacturing of clothing use a great deal of water and energy, but when clothes go into landfill, they break down without oxygen - a process that releases methane, a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change.
