Driving institutional cooperation through innovation is key to unlocking the potential of Africa’s prosperity. The times that we live in necessitate leveraging technology to build a value chain for a system that will foster growth.

In 2020, Uber partnered with Nigeria's Flutterwave to launch Uber Cash, its digital wallet featured in Sub-Saharan Africa. The new digital platform was designed to ensure easy and quick payment for Uber riders. During the Covid pandemic, Collaboration existed between the University of Oxford and AstraZeneca, it also yielded positive results to provide solutions among BioNTech, Fosun Pharma and Pfizer.

In recent times, partnerships have leveraged the ease technology has to provide innovations. According to McKinsey, “up to 80% of businesses use social collaboration tools for enhancing business processes”.

The COLLABORATE TO INNOVATE session is targeted at leaders of business and social initiatives to bring about development via the transfer of knowledge, exchange of resources and other possible value projects for Africa’s societal and economic benefits.
